The Vision
GHIC building fund project started in 2012, with a vision for the church to purchase a building that would be a community centre.
In 2021, we were able to raise a mortgage deposit and purchased our current church building in October of the same year.
We are continuing to raise more funds to carry out further renovation and improvement of the building to desired standards of a modern auditorium and community centre. Planned renovations include state of the art community kitchen, community space for mothers & toddlers, and a youth centre.
Also, planned upgrades include audio/visual systems and a much needed new heating system.
As part of the plan we need your help in raising a total of £550,000 over 5 years to convert our new church building to a modern and relevant community centre.
